Vera Vest

Vera Vest, age 88, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Malvern, Arkansas. She was born February 14, 1928 in Prague Czechoslovakia to Josef Hylmar and Emilie Hylmarova. Vera was a Methodist and a retired mutual clerk at Oaklawn Park for thirty years. Vera had a love for cats and leaves behind Hairball and Pootie who will miss her very much.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd Vest, and one brother.

Survivors are one daughter, Susan Saunders one son, Robert Vest and wife, Julie; five grandchildren, Clayton Saunders, Randy Vest, Michael (Kathy) Price, Amber Price and Daniel (Brandi) Price; eleven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jayden, Alexis and Emiley Price, Zoe Lockridge, Zyriel and Ziah Davis, Austion and Lexi Richardson, Lincoln Price and Athena Alexandria Vest.
