Sharon Kay Loy Stinnett, age 57, of Friendship, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at her home. She was born January 13, 1958 to James and Shirley McAnally Loy. Sharon was a nurse for thirty-four years. She was an very active member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church of Arkadelphia where she served as choir director, a Sunday School teacher, a leader in the W.M.A. and the church pianist.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Jamie Loy and a brother, Brad Loy.
Survivors are her husband, James "Jimmy" Stinnett; her children, Rachael Hobson Perkins and husband, Keith, Thomas Hughes and wife, Amanda all of Little Rock, Nicholas Hughes of Hot Springs and Tiffany Purtle and husband, Mike of Hope; her mother, Shirley Loy of Arkadelphia; her brother, Mike Loy and wife, Gayla of Gurdon and six grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21st at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church with Larry Newsom officiating. Burial will be in Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jeff Westbrook, Keith Gattis, John Harris, Kelly Nelson, Larry Newsom Jr. and Michael Loy.
Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church or to a favorite charity in memory of Sharon.
