Jocelyn “Joy” Arnett Galindez Rippeto, age 52, of Bismarck, Arkansas passed into the Heavenly Kingdom on Thursday, July 8, 2022.  She was born in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, Philippines on July 2nd, 1970.

Joy was a highly accomplished career Educator with Lakeside Junior High in Hot Springs, Arkansas where she served as a Special Education and Instructor/Teacher, a true heart for her students for over 24 years teaching in public schools in Arkansas, Georgia, and the Philippines.  She received her Educational Specialist Degree (Curriculum Leadership) From Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, AR in 2019, Master of Arts in Education from Bukidnon State University, Malaybay City, Philippines in 2001, Master of Arts in Teaching from St. Joseph Institute of Technology, Butuan City Philippines in 1998, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Mindanao State University in 1992.

Joy loved to travel to new places, to Sing and Dance, and to take photo's both in front of as well as behind the camera. Spending time with her many friends was a big part of Joy’s life as well as gardening, and riding with her husband, Frank, on his motorcycle.  Joy had a tremendous heart and love for children and their animals.

Joy was an Active Member and former President of the Hot Springs PhilAm Association, she was also very active in the ministry at The Edge Church where she served with her husband in leadership and as Associate Pastor's, and together they were members of Chariots of Light, an evangelistic motorcycle outreach ministry.

She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Cagas Galindez and an older sister, Juanita Galendez Rique.  Joy is survived by her husband of 16 years, Frank Rippeto, her mother, Esperanza Ladaga Galindez; by three sisters, Corazon Reynaldo, Estrella Mario, Erlinda Bonin; her brother, Angelito Nila, and 14 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews, all residing in the Philippines who will miss her greatly.

Joy will be remembered as a person who passionately loved God, and as a former full-time worker, CMT, LG, and worship Leader in JILC Buenavista, Philippines, in the late 1990’s.  Joy has never forgotten the Churches in JIL Rizal and JIL Buenavista.  She and her husband, Frank, would contact us and extend help through prayers, financial assistance, shipping musical equipment and amplifiers for our Music Team and many others.  We praise and thank God for the life of Joy.

In lieu of flowers, Frank would like for those interested to donate in her honor to a choice of charities with the purpose of spreading the gospel to the nation of Israel and assisting people who desire to adopt both of these needs were dear to her heart:

*ABBA Charities helps provide resources for adoption and has a designated PayPal account in her name.

*Randy Caldwell's "Project Israel" -

*Christian's United For Israel -
